Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JumpStart Honors Precalculus (the "Service") and any course content, video, document, or material we make available through the Service. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. U.S. residents only
The Service is offered exclusively to residents of the United States. By creating an account or making a purchase, you represent and warrant that you reside in the United States.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are between 13 and 17, you confirm at signup that a parent or guardian has approved your use of the Service and accepts these Terms on your behalf.
Whoever pays for the Service must be at least 18 (a practical consequence of credit card eligibility). If you are a parent or guardian purchasing on behalf of a student, you accept these Terms on the student's behalf and take responsibility for the student's use of the Service.
We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts. If you become aware that a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at support@honorsprecalc.com.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping your password confidential, and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access to your account caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure.
You may not share your account credentials, share access to paid content with others, transfer your account, or create multiple accounts to circumvent purchase requirements.
4. Purchase, access, and pricing
When you purchase the course, you receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the course content for 12 months from the date of purchase. After 12 months, your access to paid content ends.
Pricing is shown in U.S. dollars and is subject to applicable sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already made.
Promotion codes, discounts, and cohort pricing are offered at our discretion and may be limited, expire, or be withdrawn at any time.
5. Refunds
We offer a 3-day, no-questions-asked refund window from the date of purchase. To request a refund within that window, email support@honorsprecalc.com. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
After the 3-day window, all sales are final, except as required by applicable consumer-protection law.
6. Intellectual property
All course content — including videos, documents, worksheets, quizzes, illustrations, software, branding, and the Service itself — is the property of JumpStart Honors Precalculus or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes for the duration of your access period. You may:
- Watch the videos for your own education or for the education of a student you are responsible for.
- Download and print the PDFs for your own use.
You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, share, post, upload, stream, broadcast, or sell any course content.
- Remove copyright, trademark, or watermark notices from any content.
- Use the course content to create or train any artificial intelligence model.
- Use the course content to operate a competing tutoring or course service.
- Use any automated tool, scraper, or bot to access or download content in bulk.
We monitor for abuse, including bulk downloading and unauthorized sharing. Violations may result in account termination without refund.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or location.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your use creates risk or possible legal exposure for us or other users. In cases of fraud, abuse, or material breach, termination may be without refund.
8. Account termination and data
You may delete your account at any time from your Account page. Upon deletion, your access to paid content ends immediately, your personal data is deleted within 30 days (subject to legal retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy), and any unused portion of your access period is forfeited.
If we terminate your account for cause, the same applies and you will not be entitled to a refund.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that course content is free of mistakes. We make no guarantees about academic outcomes or test performance. The course is an educational resource, not a substitute for a teacher, tutor, or accredited program.
10. Limitation of liability
Please read this section carefully. It limits our liability to you.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JUMPSTART HONORS PRECALCULUS AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU ACTUALLY PAID US FOR THE COURSE, NET OF ANY REFUNDS YOU RECEIVED.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JumpStart Honors Precalculus from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
12. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
